What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function correctly, provide security features, and remember user preferences.
Cookies We Use
CapySays uses only essential cookies required for the Service to function securely:
| Cookie | Purpose | Attributes |
|---|---|---|
__Secure-sessionid
|
Maintains your authenticated login session | HttpOnly, Secure |
__Secure-csrftoken
|
Protects against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks | HttpOnly, Secure |
What We Don't Use
We do not use any analytics cookies, tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies. There are no cookies from external services such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising networks.
Feedback Collector
The feedback collector (the page your customers interact with) uses browser storage APIs rather than cookies:
- localStorage — stores the device token and theme preference
- IndexedDB — stores the offline feedback queue for syncing when connectivity is restored
These are browser-based storage mechanisms, not cookies, and are not transmitted to our servers with each request.
Managing Cookies
You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. Please note that clearing the session cookie will log you out of CapySays and you will need to sign in again. Since we use only essential cookies, blocking them may prevent the Service from functioning correctly.
